Review of Bryce Point

Bryce Point is a fantastic place to watch the sunrise. But be warned, people station themselves at the end of the viewpoint and the left side so you need to get there early to get a spot. The rangers station/visitor center posts the times for sunrise and sunset each day which is helpful in planning your visit.

Get to Bryce Point early to claim a place at the rail, and watch the beautiful unfolding colors of the sunrise reflected on the canyon walls. Be prepared for the cold, however - the frigid wind blows directly in your face as you face west. Worth it, though, for the experience and the photos.

If you come to Bryce Canyon National Park and you want to stop at only one place, Bryce Point is that place.

A must see, Bryce Point is the apex in this superlative national park. I am an engineer and yes science says wind, water and ice created Bryce Amphitheater...but you will doubt that theory in favor of the divine when you see the magic in Bryce Amphitheater. Truly spectacular, you can spend hours staring at the hoodoos and imagining the faces in the hoodoos staring silently into the amphitheater.
