“A Divine creation”
Review of Bryce Point

A must see, Bryce Point is the apex in this superlative national park. I am an engineer and yes science says wind, water and ice created Bryce Amphitheater...but you will doubt that theory in favor of the divine when you see the magic in Bryce Amphitheater. Truly spectacular, you can spend hours staring at the hoodoos and imagining the faces in the hoodoos staring silently into the amphitheater.

Rode the shuttle to the Bryce Lookout and immediately recognized this view from several National Geographic photos and covers from years past. Very convenient to access from the shuttle, but once you get to the viewpoint plan on staying for awhile, your eyes will be transfixed and mesmerized. The beauty is astounding. PTL. You can almost hear angels singing here, it might not be heaven but it's got to be close. We went to many of the view points and found this to be the best vantage of the Bryce Canyon Amphitheater, early and late in the day would be best to add some depth to the scene with mellowing colors and lengthening shadows.

Easy access. If there are crowds, the shuttle would be the best transportation. Trails from here are a bit steep. Hiking boots a must.

My husband and I recommend this location for Sunrise pictures vs. Sunrise point for great view of the amphitheater with the light on it. It was cloudy the morning of our sunrise but it would have been great if the sun had been out. We will have to go back again!
