“Wow,”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

Really does look like Queen Victoria, was an easy hike in, a little more taxing on the climb up and out, if I can do it ... anybody can.

“Easy trail, but in winter..only with the right shoes”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

This is the perfect walk if you want to just get out of your car for a bit. It leaves from the right side of the parking lot at Sunrise Point. You don't have to walk the whole way down. Within 5 minutes or so you have a completely different perspective from the usual, 'top-of-the-rim' viewpoint, and it's well worth it.

However, if you go in winter, consider this walk ONLY if you have the proper shoes, or you have those 'shoe chains' to go over your tennis shoes (they sell them in the NPS visitors center). You will be going downhill, and the trails are completely covered in snow and extremely slippery. There was a lot of sliding going on (and not in a good way!) when we were on the trail in the middle of the day.

“Happy in the Hoodoos”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

I loved this hike. It was nice viewing the hoodoos from above, but it was a surreal experience to be surrounded by them at the lower level. The colors are magnificent. I combined the rim trail with this one and finished with the Navajo, going in a clockwise direction. The Queens trail was easy and the Navajo is moderate because of the steeper ascent.

“Great walk. Watch for weather changes!”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

Bryce Canyon is amazing itself even you will just overlook it from the top. But it is just such a pleasant walk, like walking in unreal world. Thanks for one of reviews I read from tripadvisor, fell like the best way to start this walk from Sunrise point and walk right into Gardens through few arches. And if you have tome just explore around QUEEN VICTORIA formation, it' s like a playground there.
But be aware of elevation- weather can be severe. It changed on us in 2 hours from cool pleasant to heavy snow, and it was mid April.
so, before you are taking off for hike, talk to locals about condition for coming day.
You will love this walk.

“Add on to the Navajo”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

Great add-on to the miraculous Navajo trail, and well worth the climb back up to the parking lot. DFo it if you have time, about 3,5 miles but not hugely strenuous.
