“Good in and out trail”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

Need to be in decent shape, the hills can get you. Take plenty of water and wear a hat, there is little shade.

“Best short hike in Bryce”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

How could you not love this hike. We did this in both summer and winter and loved it both times. Hoodoos are all over the place, pine trees, orange/amber rock formations, snow, people, and its all there in a short hike. The camera was the most tired after the walk.

“Worth the time on a relatively easy trail”
Reviewed November 22, 2013

Simply stunning! Bryce isn't a really deep canyon so makes for a reasonable easy loop hike / run. Stunning and energising.

“Great hike - somewhat strenous”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

You can't go wrong with any hike in Bryce. This one is an easy downhill into the canyon, but a fairly steep hike out. However, if you take your time, anyone can enjoy this hike.

“This trail is steep, but should not be missed!”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

This trail is steep, but if you start by going to the left (it's a loop), the return up the other side is easier. At the top you see these amazing rock formation and with every step down into the canyon, you see things from a different perspective and it all changes. At the bottom, the canyon supports trees and wildlife. As we climbed back out of the canyon it began to snow and it was magical!
