I hate crowds so go early. Biked it twice in the a.m. , spectacular!

You just need to go a little off the beaten track away from the waddling crowds and can experience a quiet nature experience even in the middle of July.

For the brave do the Beehive and Precipice Hikes...no waddlers.

As per my title, there is so much to see/do and the park is truly beautiful. Nonetheless, it's definitely manageable to see the entire park within a day with some added bonuses. Here are useful tips:
1) Skip the Hulls Cove Visitor Center -> nothing to see and you can purchase your tickets down the road at the entrance booths on Park Loop Road
2) Skip Sand Beach unless you want to walk down and do some sight seeing. It's simply too crowded and the water is too cold
3) Do visit Wild Garden, Thunder Hole, and Cadillac Mountain
4) Leave out the New Harbor exit and stop by the Asticou Azelea Garden and Thuya Garden -> they are absolutely beautiful and worth supporting along with the park

Well worth the $20 admission fee. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours on this loop to be able to stop and appreciate all the fantastic views!

Many great stops along the way to see Acadia. Traffic got a bit backed up at the Entrance station one day, and parking was tight by mid-morning, at Sand Beach. It was nice that you could park on the road itself if needed.

Recommend getting the CD audio tour at the gift shop. It is worth the money to get the insight provided and instructions to not miss any of the loop's charm and history!!
