“Magnificant View”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

You have to go here to say you've visited Acadia NP. The view from the top is breathtaking. You can take photos that look like you climbed to the top of the mountain when in reality, the parking area is right next to the viewing areas. Worth the drive to the top.

“Great Views From Any Point”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

We only walked the Cadillac Mtn loop, which is rated Easy, but which was challenging enough for my bad knees. But the views were really spectacular!

I'm disappointed that we did not head back up to Cadillac Mountain to see the sunset but what we saw was beautiful and breathtaking!

“Ten minutes into your hike the crowds are gone!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

Great hike. Lots of "bang for the buck" with a fairly easy hike with great views. Have done this hike in high season when it's body to body in any of the MDI towns. Ten minutes up and suddenly nobody's there. Apparently most of the hoards of tourists are not interested in hiking.

“Awesome views!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

Reached from the great auto road in Acadia National Park - this is the premier view in the park. Hike the peak trail, enjoy a picnic lunch, and shop for souvenirs at the well stocked gift shop. The bathrooms at the gift shop are nice as well! A must see when in the Bar Harbor area.
