“FOUR OR FIVE EXHIBITIONS IN ONE!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2014

I have passed this attraction on numerous occasions and wished I had visited before.
within the course of a visit here you will see a fantastically eclectic collection of mind blowing items ranging from Old Mill Memorabilia - Wonderful Quilting Examples - Fantastic Oriental Costumes - Old Craftsman's Tools - terrifically memory evoking everyday items from yesteryear - a stream driven rotating Mill Wheel ......... far too many things to mention in this review. Go and visit this gem of the past - it really is most interesting ..... and there is a great coffee & scones to be had when you are finished.

“fabulous”

This mill is fantastic! interesting and a labour of love. How fortunate we are to have people like Rob and his family who have dedicated a huge amount of time and effort to restore this wonderful mill for our enjoyment. If that is not enough they have also assembled a marvellous collection of artefacts, Victorian clothing and paraphernalia, with fascinating reconstructions of how people lived. This is a must for anyone visiting or living within Ayrshire. Not only is the mill fantastic but also the cafe we loved it, delicious soup and bread and lovely staff (Rob's grandson) the menu has a great selection. To finish there is a pleasant walk along properly constructed footpaths. I have no hesitation in recommending this mill for all.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014 via mobile

Had our wedding here. Stayed at the lovely cottage the night before and after. Our guests stayed at the hotel. A perfect day. Lovely photos in the grounds. Lovely food. Hotel staff were great, so laid back. Nothing was a problem.

WOW,WOW,WOW!!!! This is a MUST visit little diamond.Nestled away, this is the best place BY FAR in Ayrshire. The owner Rob was charismatic, enthusiastic and very intelligent on all matters regarding the mill. He was very helpful and answered all queries and even showed us his secret stash which was a great treat and very impressive. To top of a great day there was the Millers Kitchen were we enjoyed some fantastic soup and first class bread. Overall a great visit for all.
