“Best romantic picnic on the Gold Coast”

Take your own rug and everything (cold drinks and coffee are worth buying). And you must take mosquito repellent, tropical kick !@#$ strength. Kids will be bored in 30 minutes even though the gardens are well worth a visit when you are on the Mountain. They are all done by volunteer effort and there are lots of garden 'rooms' to explore. Actually good for older people as well as it is not too big to get around.

“Peaceful, beautiful and highly recommended”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

The gardens are beautifully presented and maintained. Our group of six including three children enjoyed this day trip immensely, not only was it free to walk around the gardens, we also stopped for lunch-how impressive! Tasty and reasonably priced food-they even did children's meals which weren't comprised of fizzy drinks and chips!

“Good spot for BBQ or Picnic”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2012

When we visit Mt Tamborine we often come and have a nice picnic here, either in the undercover area or on the grass in different sections of the gardens near the lake. The gardens are small but very peaceful. Nice little water area and walks through the bamboo.

A very peaceful garden to enjoy a stroll in the sun and a relaxing picnic. There's a good variety of plants to see.
