Another interesting experience, seeing and learning about glow worms. You start off with a video show explaining about them before you walk into the cave, adjusting your eyes to actually see them glowing. Another MUST DO when visiting Tambourine Mountain.

We Took our 14 year old son and all enjoyed learning about and seeing the glow worms. Our guide was friendly and informative.

We went there 20minutes before the closing time and were able to join the glow worms tour. The tour guide was speaking so fast My family from oversea was unable to catch a word.
Then we were told we could go to the frog exhibit. In the frog area, a lady showed up and told us she was going to lock up and we needed to leave. She started to switch off all aquariums and told us to leave the building. We didnt have time to see any frogs.
Then she followed us back to the entrance and repeated 3 times she was going to lock the toilets.
Overall we felt rushed all along. I understand they have a closing time but they shouldn’t accept visitors past 3pm if visitors dont have time to complete the experience.
We paid over $40 and spent only 20mins on site before being pushed to the car park. Wont recommend this overpriced place to anyone.
We feel ripped off.

The good news is that you don’t have to wait until night to go here, in fact if you do, you will miss out as it will be closed. We managed to get on the last tour of the day at 6.15pm. The tour last about 30 minutes. Our guide was a bubbly young lady, very knowledgeable and made the tour fun, interesting all the while giving a lesson on Glow worms. It was an easy walk to the man made caves and when we walked in we were overwhelmed by the sight of millions of glowing Glow worms. It was stunning, the kids absolutely loved it too. This tour is worth every cent, it was very reasonably priced.

Our tour guide was Summer who was very funny . She gave us a very informative tour .

However the cave seems to be really small. You can really just walk from end to end in 2 minute . We didn’t have a torch ( only the tour guide had ) so we just basically see lots of bright dots in a cave ... and only has like 20 seconds to see the worm when Summer shone on the worm using her torch .

They have kids activity there while we waited for the tour to start
