We booked for 6pm as we like to eat early; on arriving in the car park we found that we were the only 2. We look at each other and at the sometime said hope this isn’t a bad sign. How wrong could we have been, we made our way inside and were seated in front of the open fire place and had a few minutes to look over the wine and drinks list. The owner came over and placed some more wood on the fire and sat and told us the history of were the church had come from and a bit about his family that ran the church. We decided to have the degustation this was an excellent choice as it gave us the opportunity to try more of what was available to eat on our next visit. By the way the church was almost packed by time we left, good idea to book.
