Went to this resort last May with my and my brother's family. I was choosing between this and another one beside it which has a pool.
We opted to stay here instead because of the proximity of the rooms to the pavilion that looks out to the sea where Potipot Island lies.
Reception was fast. We were checked in early because we almost had the resort to ourselves. There was no food at their resto when we came in so we ate lunch at the nearby resort.
When we came back from the island later, the dinner that we pre-ordered with them was such a feast! The servings were big and the taste was delightful. We learned later that it was the good owner who supervised the cooking herself.
We were not able to eat everything because of the large portions so we requested that some of it be heated the next morning for our breakfast. This would be on top of a few breakfast items that we ordered for the next day.
The rooms including the comfort rooms were small but they were clean and functional. The airconditioning ran well so we had no complaints.
We returned to Potipot the next day after an early breakfast before checking out for our trip back.
Overall, our stay in this resort was comfortable and relaxing. Again, this could be because it was a weekday when we checked-in and there was just one other group with us in the resort and nobody took the karaoke for a 'spin'. A full-house could be another matter altogether.
