Took my Wife and a friend to this Pub for a evening meal. Food was great. Well prepared and presented and tasted sublime. Staff were very helpful. Pretty surroundings with a excellent view across Lulworth Cove

Stayed for one night on sun 2nd june on our way to cornwall, one of the loveliest of rooms we have stayed in, loved the chabby seaside chic and the bath in the bedroom, bed was sooo comfortable. All the staff were so friendly and helpfull a credit to the manager. Would love to return.

we were visiting Lulworth Cove and decided to stop here for something to eat. It has recently been refurbished and is very clean.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
We sat out in the beer garden as we had two dogs with us, this is nicely laid out and there was a drinking bowl for the benefit of the dogs!
We ordered our food, which was 2 x sub, 1 x baguette, 1 x chicken wings ,these dishes were suppose to be served with mixed salad! the mixed salad consisted of 1 small lettuce leaf, half a slice of cucumber and 2 shredded strips of carrot. The chips that had been ordered with the subs consisted of 7 chips on each plate and the cost of the chips were £2.35. Value for money was none existent.

Just got back from a two night stay at this delightful pub and I think it is the best pub B.B that we have ever had and that is saying something as we have been to dozens.
Staff not only helpful and friendly but the smiles on their faces told you they were actually enjoying their work and made you feel like you were in your local and not strangers off the street. memo to boss if you look after your staff as well as they looked after us you will have a real win win situation on your hands.
We had room four as I wanted a sea view and a balcony and with the weather being wonderful it was great to sit in our rocking chairs and watch the world go by.
I had to keep poping down to the bar for more drinks which I am sure they would have delivered if I had asked but you have to get some exercise on a three day break.
Couple of points to make about the room, beautifully decorated but still had that quirky quintessence to make you look and look again, I counted 67 items of objet d'art in the room.
Yet here's the thing, we had everything from tiny bottles on the shelves to a set of ladders in the room but no wardrobe to hang our clothes in.
The bathroom had every modern touch you could think of including soft blue foorlevel lighting that went out when you left the toilet area and a magic touch mirror with lights that came on for shaving, makeup, etc, but in the shower there was nowhere to put your soap, shampoo, etc so it had to go on the floor and and even more worrying no safety bar to hold onto as you get in behind someone else that has made the floor tray slippery. an accident waiting to happen and a sure fired claim against the hotel when it does. this could be easily fixed by the maintanance man in a few minutes with an electric drill.
Now I know that's being picky but its all I could find wrong with this place so well done to all of you ROY xxxxxxx

Room Tip: Not a room tip but more important if you are going swimming in the cove as I did on day one, be care...

What a lovely place in a stunning location. Fab breakfast loved the honeycomb and the veggie option was really different. Very comfortable bed - we had a problem as no hot water in shower but used the beautiful bath instead and got money off for it. Very apologetic staff who were so helpful and even got me earl grey tea for the room. Will definitely return.

Room Tip: I wouldn't bother with paying extra for balcony rooms our room without was much nicer than our f...

Just had 4 nights here following their refurbishment (son and I visited last year) and what can I say.........the hotel has been transformed and is more welcoming than before.

Jez, been, jo and the team were excellent again, they really make you feel welcome.

The breakfast has changed since last year now includes continental, could not fault any of thiis.

The evening restaurant, always busy and as usual superb service and the food was excellent.

We have already booked to go back next year done that on check out.

The cove has lots of different walks from it and the little things we found that we didn't last year, you just don't tire of the view. It's also a great base for travelling out if you want to.

Room Tip: Their all nice

I booked this hotel for my sister and her "fussy" husband from germany to stay over the may bank holiday. Knowing the location and the hotel I was even more delighted when I found out that it had a recent refurbishment. The rooms were light and airy with modern facilities, all kept in a maritime theme with a lot of attention to detail. My sister stayed in room no. 12 which had also view onto the cove, an absolute added bonus.
As I live locally and was very curious about their menu we met up some evenings to try out the dishes on offer.
We were pleased to discover a wide variety from seafood and vegetarian to rustic pub grub with a culinary twist at reasonable prices. Just try the Steak and Tanglefoot pie.....out of this world, it was so good my brother in law had to have it twice!!. Well both of them want to come back to this hotel and will recommend it to their friendsx

Room Tip: room no 12 big spacious bathroom bath/ shower Sea view
