“Best B & B anywhere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2014

This was our second visit (we have 3 more booked in). Lisa greeted us as the door like old friends and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. We were in the Keats room (previously we stayed in the Hardy room). We were not disappointed. The whole house is beautifully clean and Lisa and Clive really care about the enviroment and use appropriate cleaning materials and linens. The little extras of truffles by your bed, little cakes and an ample supply of all sorts of teas and coffees make ones feel very spolit. Fresh milk and filtered water is also in ample supply. Clive's breakfasts as delicious and substantial. The addition of eggs benedict since we last stayed was lovely and I highly recommed that. A box of little extras is supplied in each room in case a visitor has forgotten something, This includes such things as sunscreen, toothpaste, disposal razors, after sun etc. The thought that goes into making everyones stay perfect, is what is so fabulous about Bindon Bottom. If, like me, you have a stressful job, a few long weekends away here each year, really gives one the opportunity to really realx in luxuorious surroundings.

This is the best B & B you could ever wish to stay at. Lisa and Clive are so warm and welcoming! Attention is lovingly paid to every little detail. The decor throughout their beautiful Victorian home is sumptuous. The bedroom was exquisite, offering all the 'extra' luxurious touches, and spotlessly clean. The beds are SO comfortable with gorgeous quality bed linen, you're guaranteed a wonderful restful nights sleep. Breakfasts are absolutely delicious too, offering excellent choices and using local and natural produce. The position of the property offers beautiful hill views, so very peaceful and yet still close to local amenities and lovely restaurants. Lisa & Clive have created a little bit of paradise. We cannot recommend it enough, it is sure to exceed your expectations.
We don't normally write reviews, but we wanted to share our appreciation of such a little gem. Run by two lovely caring people who deserve every success. We will be returning asap.....today if we could!

We have just returned from a lovely stay with Lisa and Clive at Bindon Bottom. They are so welcoming: the breakfasts are delicious, the rooms are delightfully, the setting is stunning - but it's also all the little extras that make a stay there so pleasant: the home-made chocolates, the Neals Yard toiletries, the delicious little goodies to have with tea. And Lisa and Clive are so helpful and hospitable. Just great.

Room Tip: Obviously, the more expensive rooms are larger - but all the rooms are delightful and have everythin...

We have just returned home after a fantastic 3 night break at Bindon Bottom for my boyfriends birthday. Not only was the weather good to us, but all aspects of the B&B were so well thought of, it made for a perfect long weekend.
Lisa & Clive are the ultimate hosts, welcoming us into their home of relaxed decor, superb advice about the local area and offering the best known breakfast I've ever eaten in the UK!
We stayed in the Hardy room which had fantastic views over the undulating hills opposite and offered a wonderful bay window for reading as the sun went down. The room was beautiful, every details was considered - a plug point by a large mirror - perfect for ladies using the hair-dryer, there was a little rubber "rattle stopper" for the lovely gothic styled sash windows and all amenities in the bathroom as well as the refreshment area were excellent - even having a fridge on the landing holding little jugs of milk instead of those nasty UHT plastic pots and room for chilling wine and champers - was priceless!
I have never done this previously, but we have actually booked to revisit next year in the summer time we enjoyed it so much.
All in all Lisa & Clive ooze enthusiasm for the local area, and of you enjoying it - with their B&B enhancing your stay by using the most authentically local and natural products to reflect their genuine and environmentally aware approach.
I can't recommend this highly enough!!

Room Tip: All the rooms seem well appointed - you'll either look out onto gardens or countryside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this excellent B&B. Lisa and Clive are brilliant hosts and have paid great attention to every detail from the facilities in the comfortable room to the delicious breakfast. The result is a great base from which to explore the surrounding area and we’d love to go back.
