Wonderful location in Lulworth, beautiful scenery and walks right on the doorstep. Bindon Bottom itself provided us with the peaceful stay that we were looking for after a hectic working week. The house is beautifully decorated, and absolutely spotless. The cooked breakfast was fantastic - it felt the most healthy we'd ever eaten. Lisa and Clive are excellent hosts providing all kinds of thoughful extras to make their guests feel at home. We've been lucky to stay is some lovely B&B's but this one is top of the list in every way. Already planning our return!

Couldn't fault it. Lisa & Clive are the perfect hosts in what is a truly lovely spot. Why stay anywhere else when you're coming to Dorset?

Everything about this stay was great, from a warm welcome to the little chocolates given as we departed. The B&B is in a great location, but Lisa and Clive have hit upon a great way of making guests feel welcome and well looked after. The room was great, very clean and comfy- the little torch provided helped us on our way during the dark Lulworth evenings! Breakfasts were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble, and there was free wifi.....brilliant. Highly recommended to everyone. Thanks!

Room Tip: We had a downstairs room which was nicknamed the lazy room- great if you come in late and don't...

We had the lovely opportunity of staying at Bindon Bottom during the February half term in 2012. Lulworth is a beautiful place and this B&B is only a 10 minute walk from the water’s edge.

The B&B itself is a magnificent building that holds beautiful rooms to stay in. The room was lovely in all ways- clean and fresh sheets, towels and pillows. The bed itself was luxurious in comfort along with the pillows-amazing to sleep in!

Everything was of the highest standards, organic and environmentally friendly.
Highly recommended.

Bindon Bottom is a very nicely decorated and well furnished B&B that still retains its period character. We stayed in the Hardy room which has a beautiful bay window and two very comfortable chairs where you can sit and look out across the hill. Very comfortable bed (that is often a problem for us when we travel!). We spent a walking weekend exploring the Jurassic coastline and the welcome and attention we received from Lisa and Clive was first class, with Lisa helping us on ideas for walks and places to eat. Clive's breakfasts are a real treat if, like me, you don't normally get to have a traditional English. Excellent quality ingredients cooked to perfection.

I picked up on the comment that it lacks a space to socialise but this really wasn't an issue for us, perhaps because the Hardy room has the extra space and chairs, and the Lulworth Cove Inn just down the road is perfect for that. We had two nice evening meals there and would recommend it. A relaxing pub that has character but is clean and nicely decorated.

Bad weather caused a power cut while we were there and as it was getting late afternoon when we returned from our walk, it was starting to get a little dark in our room. We decided to change and walk down to Lulworth Cove Inn and as we opened the door we found groups of candles lighting each corner of the landing - they were beautiful and very romantic (we've been married 30 years but not beyond a bit of romance!) but just then the lights came back on and spoilt it!! It was a lovely thing for them to have gone to the trouble of putting all those candles around.

I really can't think of anything less than complimentary to say about Bindom Bottom, it's obviously run by two people who are dedicated to giving their guests the best service they possibly can and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

Room Tip: Hardy room has a seating area by a bay window - great for reading.

This was a first stay in a B&B and we chose this accomodation based on the reviews on tripadvisor and it's excellent location for exploring the Jurassic Coast and nearby Dorset towns.

We stayed in the Blyton Room for 4 nights and it far exceeded our expectations (we could have happily stayed for another few nights!). Tea and biscuit selection were excellent as were the complimentary cosmetics in the spotless room. The breakfast was fresh and tasty each morning and Lisa and Clive are wonderful hosts. We wish them both the best of luck with their business and we will certainly be looking to use B&Bs more in the future. A thoroughly relaxing break.

The bed was the most comfy & cosy kingsize bed, made up with beautiful duvet & pillows, with pure cotton linen. We had the best 4 nights’ sleep in ages! We stayed in the very spacious Hardy Room, but we also peeked in at a few other rooms that Lisa had prepared ready for arriving guests that afternoon... All beautifully decorated & furnished. Our room was spotlessly clean and had wonderful hillside views with two comfy armchairs in the big bay window to sit and relax. The en-suite was very modern and fully tiled, with lovely complimentary toiletries by Neals Yard - organic. In fact, we think that they had thought of everything. …and some lovely little details that you just don’t expect!

Breakfast offered a wonderful selection of local and organic produce. The organic coffee was smooth, Lisa’s homemade toast (choice of breads), was accompanied with organic jam & marmalade with REAL butter yummy. Full English Breakfast cooked superbly by Clive, and then some berries with organic yoghurt to finish. All whilst enjoying beautiful hillside views! What a way to start the day.

Right from the first phone call we found Lisa & Clive to be such easy-going and friendly hosts. They were happy to spend time talking about all the coastal walks and places to visit…and the room has lovely little details that you just don’t expect!

A 5 minute walk will take you to the Cove. Then walks in both directions from Bindon Bottom are magnificent – west takes you to Durdle Door & beyond, towards Osmington Mills, whilst east offers walks across the Lulworth Ranges taking you past Fossil Forrest, Mupe Bay and towards Kimmeridge. All breathtaking... Take good walking shoes!

We stayed in November, but we’re already getting our dates together to return this summer.. If they aren’t already booked up!
