“A slice of luxury!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2011

Spent two nights here and had a wonderful stay. Touches of luxury everywhere but still a friendly and relaxed place. Our room (the Blyton room) was lovely and we picked it because it has a bath! Easy walk to the beach and pubs. Clive and Lisa were very welcoming and helpful hosts. Breakfast fantastic. Felt like we'd had a real mini-holiday!

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely - see pics on website.

Rooms very comfortable with lots of lovely aromatherapy products to use in bathroom & many other thoughtful touches. Top quality breakfast selection which set us up for the day. Clive & Lisa were wonderful hosts, always happy to provide advice on walks and eating out, enabling us to make the most of our stay.

Room Tip: Peaceful location, all rooms quiet, most with view

Lulworth Cove is one of our favorite places and on browsing the internet I came across Bindon Bottom when looking for somewhere different to stay and I can with all honesty say that it would take something to beat staying there. Not only were Lisa and Clive so accomodating and friendly, their guest house was so inviting and the decor so tastefully done to suit each individual room. Little touches in each room to make it special. The breakfast was absolutely delicious too and Lisa's home baked bread was something that I wish I could have taken home!
We enjoyed our stay so much, that before we left, we booked again!
I am sure Lisa and Clive will be booked all year and wish them well

We stayed at Bindon Bottom in mid-April, just before the Easter rush, and found it a fantastically relaxing B&B. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's probably the best B&B we've stayed in - certainly one of the very best.

The location is superb: a five-minute walk from Lulworth Cove and the shortest of drives from Durdle Door, on a quiet lane with next to no through traffic. The owners are very hospitable and professional, the breakfasts are ideal (their eggs are something else) and the room, on the ground floor, was beautifully designed - very tasteful, quite understated, and spotless. The bed was so deep we slept like logs.

It was the kind of room we would have designed and furnished ourselves - very much a home from home, with a good line in toiletries and thoughtful touches to come home to after a day's sightseeing. (Loved the chocolates!)

The walls were nice and thick, too, which meant that although we were in the room next to the breakfast room, we didn't hear any noise in the morning.

This was a great base to explore this beautiful stretch of the coast, and we will definitely return next year.

Can't really think of any way the owners could improve on this place.

Right from our first contact to make a booking, we knew this was going to be a good choice- and we certainly weren't disappointed. After a warm welcome (Lisa even came out to the car to greet us)we were led up to a lovely spacious twin room and discovered some delightful little touches that made us feel really special. We took a short walk up to the Castle pub for an enormous supper with some great real ale. Lisa and Clive had even provided a wind up torch for the walk home as there are no street lights-they really do think of everything! Breakfast the next morning was exceptionally good.
We were sorry to only be there for one night and will definitely return for a longer stay.

We stayed at Bindon Bottom for 3 nights as a family trip with 8 of us. Lisa & Clive were very friendly and made our weekend away very comfortable and relaxing. All the little touches in the room just topped off our wonderful stay there.

Breakfast was lovely and a much needed start to the day, especially with Lisa's home made bread, whilst looking onto views of the hills opposite.

We can thoroughly recommend staying here, it makes a break in this picturesque part of the world complete. :o)

This.place.is.wonderful!

We have only stayed one night here and most of the time since checking in was spent lounging in the room as it was just too cosy to want to leave!

Bindon Bottom is a delightful B&B owned by Lisa and Clive in the pitcturesque little village of Lulworth. The B&B is only a 5 minute walk from the famous Lulworth Cove (and shops, cafes etc).

The B&B has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated and each room is named after a famous poet or author local to the Dorset area.

The number of 'little touches' here are endless and they all just make it extra special. From the Neal's Yard organic toliletries to the refreshment tray in each room with local delights (crisps, biscuits, choclate...), not to mention all the literature available to read, the freeview TV/DVD player in each room... I could go on...

Breakfast was delicious too, comprised of an array of cold organic items (cereal, yoghurt, fresh raspberries/blueberries, honey, juices) and then the tasty hot element, which was lovingly made and carefully presented. Lisa even caters for coeliacs, and has gluten free bread available upon request.

The bed was cosy and the rooms were spotlessly clean - this place is really all you could ask for.

This is a great find and perfectly placed within the area to discover the local tourist spots.

Thank you Clive and Lisa for a wonderful stay!
