Beautiful thatched cottage, in the quaint little village of West Lulworth. Very warm welcome by Jackie and Bob, our wonderful hosts. Only stayed 1 night, but felt that we had known Bob & Jackie much longer. Amazing breakfast.....great company....wish we had stayed longer. Lyn & Kevin, Australia

Room Tip: Have just read other reviews, and was surprised dogs stayed in the rooms. Don't let this put yo...

We stayed at Tewkesbury Cottage for two nights 11th and 12 May 2012. We ahd a fantastic time. The breakfast that Jackie provides is fantastic. We were able to walk for about 6 hours along the coast without the need to re-fuel. Jackie and Bob made us really welcome and our Lab/Husky cross could not wait to get down to breakfast every morning for his sausage. THe pub up the road is also very dog friendy and the food is typically great pub nosh. THey even have dog biscuits on the bar. We would certain recommend Tewksbury, Jackie, Bob and Lulworth if you want a relaxing break.

Room Tip: Stairs are a bit steep but in a period cottage what did we expect.

We stayed here with our little dog Abram and had a lovely time. Jackie and bob made us feel really welcome for the whole time we aere there. The breakfasts are HUGE and even Abram got a plate of sausages to set us all up for the day. We would advise anyone with a dog to stay here, they are REAL doggie people. Thank you Jackie and Bob for making our stay so special.

Just enjoyed a lovely weekend with Jackie and Bob in this wonderful cottage. We have never been made to feel so welcome as we did here, especially with our dog Flossie in tow, it was just like we were visiting old friends. The breakfasts are unbelievably good, and the rooms are clean, quaint and cosy. The cottage is within easy reach of the beach and the coastal path, and the local dog friendly pub is a 5 minute walk away. Remember to take a torch for the walk back at night. We all loved it, and are sure you will too. Really reluctant to share it as it truly is a great find. Can't wait to return.

I just came back from three nights in the twin room of this superb thatched cottage, along with a friend and her dog. We arrived tired and somewhat battered by life's storms and received a wonderfully warm welcome from Jackie. Our room was delightful with its old beams, pretty decor and warm, comfortable beds. Our own and Figgy-dog's needs were amply met and we each delighted in a bath in which you can actually lie down and truly relax. Breakfast was wonderful and set us up beautifully for each day. Jackie and Bob were never intrusive but touched our lives in a special way with their warmth and humour. It all meant so much to both of us and we will definitely be returning. We left them, feeling refreshed and able to cope again, with this little ditty:

Our stay was very pleasant and we give our thanks to you
We had such lovely breakfasts - and Figgy had some too!
We loved our pretty bedroom and those special sloping walls,
The old beams and the thatched roof - in fact, we loved it all.
We plan to visit you again, so we will keep in touch,
Until that time, again we say, 'Thank you very much!'

Room Tip: All the rooms in this small but lovely B&B are so pretty and the ones we weren't in looked v...

Spent an amazing 3 nights at Jackie and Bobs beautiful cottage last weekend. We return again and again as we love it so much. We are always made to feel very special and are looked after really well. You must go and see for yourself just what the breakfast is like - it's enough for two people on one plate. We have stayed in different rooms each time we have visited - all of which are very tastefully furnished and decorated and oh so comfy. Our little dog has accompanied us a few times and he too loves the hospitality and as a special treat is given a sausage or two for his breakfast, we all feel spoilt rotten. Can't wait to return - thanks again to two super people who make our stay so great.

Room Tip: We have stayed in all rooms and really do not have a preference, they are all very nice - as you wil...

Friends of ours came here last year- and recommend my partner and I came with them the following year. We spent one night here. It was very lovely. The B&B is very traditional. Jackie was lovely- really welcoming. Breakfast was very generous. Will definitely be going back.
