Looking down on stair hole, it certainly is a strange example of geology. As the rest of coast erodes away, this place doesn't. It is actually not made of limestone, which is why it doesn't erode as quickly as other cliff faces on the Jurassic Coast. A great view and a nice place to visit.

A short uphill walk from West Lulworth to see this fascinating rock and sea configuration - also good views over Lulworth Cove.

Absolutely stunning look at it.. Thousands of years of an artists sculpture and constantly evolving (no person can re create) it is surrounded by its own natural art gallery on Dorsets Jerrasic coast absolutely fabulous
Well worth a visit

Amazing spot, beautiful landscape and clear bright waters. Fantastic.
It was such a beautiful scenario, wild nature at its best.
Geologically precious, a real treasure.
