We stayed here for two nights over the bank holiday weekend as a base to explore Mid Wales. Rhedyn delivered on all levels from a warm welcome from our hosts to the very clean and comfortable Stable suite, with all the promises and features detailed on the website all present and correct.
However the secret of Rhedyn is in the food. We booked an evening meal for the first night to save hunting around for somewhere to eat and we were not disappointed. Our 3 course meal was of the highest standard with obvious skill and a passion for good food eminating from the clever couple in the kitchen. So good we booked a repeat performace the following night.... Oh and the breakfasts are pretty dam good too!
With not much around in the eatery department look no further than Rhedyn!!

My husband and I spent three nights in Rhedyn, a charming little cottage in the Welsh countryside. The purpose of our visit was to see the Red Kites, which are fed daily at the nearby Gigrin Farm. Our groundfloor room was perfect, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The shower room was beautifully designed, tiled throughout and immaculately clean. Our hosts Ciaran and Muiread were so helpful, advising us about places to eat and interesting siteseeing. The cottage is very quaint and the finishing touches make it a great pleasure to be staying in such a lovely home. Our breakfast was excellent with a good variety of local produce and Muiread's homemade jams and marmalade. We hope to go back when next we visit Wales, and highly recommend Rhedyn to other travellers.
