“SUPERB IN ALL RESPECTS”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

From the spacious rooms to the sumptuous breakfasts, from the wonderful hosts to the glorious scenery, from quiet countryside to ease in accessing nearby attractions - this place is the tops! As the base location for our weekend stay with a group of friends, Pwllgwilym could simply not be bettered.

Room Tip: It doesn't matter - all rooms (and the cottages) are great. Level access to ground-floor rooms u...

I stayed only one night at the Pwllgwilym in one of the B&B rooms. I couldn't have asked for more. I had a massive room with a dining table, sofa and kitchen area with fridge. but wished it could have been longer.
Pwllgwilym is situated in the middle of the country surrounded by walks and bike tracks. I didn't try these as I arrived in the middle of a thunder storm!
I can't comment on the food as I only had coffee, fresh fruit with yoghurt and toast for breakfast but the breakfast room is huge and linked to the farmhouse kitchen where I had a very informative discussion about bread making! It tasted great as well! Pwllgwilym is certainly on my list of places to stay if I'm in the area again. Cant recommend highly enough!

A wonderful tranquil place to stay in a good location. The rooms are lovely and excellent value, Richard and Jane are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Richard cooks a superb breakfast! We hope to visit again soon.

Visited the B&B with five other cyclists and after a wet day on the hills arriving here was a welcome relief. Accommodation was spotless and of very high standard. The owners helped ensure our kit was soon drying and called ahead to the local pub so we could get an evening meal (also worth a visit). Breakfast great too. One to visit again

17 of us came to stay at Pwllgwilym, spread over 2 cottages and the B&B. We were absolutely blown away by the quality of the accommodation, and by the friendly and welcoming hosts Richard and Jane.
The B&B rooms were absolutely enormous and spotlessly clean. The cottages had plenty of room, incredible hot tubs, and lots of thoughtful welcome goodies.
It was so brilliant that we have already booked a return stay for the Summer - worth every penny!

Having stayed in a few less than splendid B & B's in Wales, we were delighted to come across Pwllgwilym which more than lived up to the excellent reviews.

Richard and Jane were very welcoming on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was very spacious with a big comfy bed and excellent facilities.

Breakfast was a real treat, a full Welsh that meant that we didn't need to eat again until the evening!!

This is a great little B & B and we will reccomend to friends, as well as returning ourselves when we are next in Wales. :-)))
