We were lucky enough to pick up a deal off Travelzoo which was £99 each for two nights bed breakfast and evening meal, the first night being from the a la carte menu, the second from the Market menu, and a voucher to visit Blenheim palace included. It seemed unbelievable and we were dubious as to the quality of accommodation , or whether there would be a catch somewhere.
We needn't have worried. The room was immaculate, clean warm and had everything you would reasonably expect. The evening meals were lovely, suprisingly we preferred the Market menu to the a la carte.
The only thing I would say is that the price of a glass of wine in the bar was steep at £7, so watch out for that. However given what we got for our money , we couldnt complain.
The weather was atrocious , however we still enjoyed a relaxing weekend . Just watch out if you visit the antiques shop if you carry a bag on your shoulder... I caught a plate on the wall which smashed . Fortunately I was only charged book price of a fiver by the owner.
If this had been "Four in a bed" I would most definately stay again in answer to that question,

Came on a cheap package booked via Travel Zoo so wasn't expecting much but we were very pleasantly surprised!

The hotel was beautiful, in a lovely English village. Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was large, very clean and cosy.

Food was excellent, great valve and we were served well, certainly didn't have any of the problems experienced by some receivers.

Overall, we couldn't of been happier with the hotel and trip and have recommended it to our friends!

Booked 2 night DB&B including tickets to Blenheim Palace deal from Travel Zoo. Our room was clean and comfortable situated in the annex overlooking the courtyard. The food was good and the staff friendly. All in all a good break at an excellent price.

We haven't dined there for a few years but had an excellent meal on the evening of Tuesday 17th April. The food was excellent and the service all you could desire; the staff were very friendly and very helpful. We were warmly welcomed by Charley, the manageress and during the meal had a chat with John Anderson, Group MD, who had made himself aware of the food we had chosen and how we had asked for it tobe cooked. A very pleasant and enjoyable experience and we will be back soon. We were not resident in the hotel. Brian Reynolds

We spent 4 nights at this hotel on a DB&B basis. Included in the price was the entrance ticket to Blenheim Palace. The hotel has a 'country house hotel' feeling and the bar had a village feel. The evening dinner each night was very good with plenty of choice. Portions at breakfast were a little light and they could have included a better choice of fruit. The room was excellent and the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpfull. This is an ideal place for a short break with excellent walking and lots of convenient places to visit. We will definitely return.
