Fabulous, what more can be said, Helen and Philip have thought of everything in this accommodation, its clean, bright and has wonderful views over the hills. We were in the bottom flat and enjoyed a peaceful couple of days, we never heard anything from the people above us (friends). The homemade cakes are a wonderful touch and very much enjoyed! We are going back but for a week this time. The accommodation is well placed for local attractions including the Heights of Abraham, The Tramway Museum etc. There is a pub next door, accessible by walking via a path.

Room Tip: It doesn't matter if you are in the top or bottom flat, they are equally good, the top flat you...

Well if you are looking for high quality holiday accommodation at a realistic price then you need look no further than this gem in a beautiful part of the Derbyshire countryside. The owners Helen and Philip really cannot do enough to make your stay an home from home. The facilities are second to none - nothing has been overlooked. It is clean, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped even down to a spare tube of toothpaste! I cannot over emphasise the cleanliness and comforts that welcome you. Wether you are a walker or just want a quiet short break then this is for you. Can't wait to return!

Room Tip: The upper flat has the benefit of a balcony with a great view.

We are delighted you had such an enjoyable stay in the area and that our accommodation had everything you needed. You are indeed booked in for a week's stay next year and this is the best compliment to us. However we are always open to suggestions for improvements we can make in the future .

The photos do not do this accommodation justice. The quality of the furnishings is first rate.It is really comfortable, spacious & very well equipped.
Basic provisions were in the cupboards & fridge eg bread, milk, tea etc,& there was even cake,& flowers to welcome us.
The bathroom facilities were extremely clean, with fluffy white towels & plenty of space. The shower was large & efficient.
The beds were amazingly comfortable,& we both had the best sleep for a very long time.It is quiet, peaceful, & tranquil. The view is spectacular,& probably the best bit for me- I liked looking out over the fields seeing the rabbits, sheep,& horses, with the trees in the background.
Pub & restaurants are close by,& the walks are brilliant!

Room Tip: Both flats are lovely
