Our first visit to Iceland and it will not be our last.
Max and NuNu did above and beyond their role, booking trips, helpful tips, printing check in documents for the airport, great.
The breakfast were more than sufficient to see you through to lunch time.
Convenient bakery which was fantastic quality food. Local sports bar was fine, also Subway and KFC I(if you are desperate) both within walking distance of the Hotel.
Very cvonvenient bus service, wish we hadn't hired a car, didn't need it really; bus stop right outside the hotal 350 IK per trip and the people in Iceland speak great English, bonus.
Icelanders are very patient and laid back, just made you feel 'chilled out'.
We stayed for 7 nights in room 11. Room lovely and warm and you can always turn the heat up/down as needed. Comfortable beds, extra pillows and kettle provided if needed also.
Need layers of clothing this time of year, dress code very informal, we took toooooo many clothes.
We were collected from ther hotel for our trips; Whale Watching (wrap up, but they do supply 'suits' to keep you warm. Also Snow Mobiling, what an experience; clothing, helmets, goggles etc supplied, give it a go.
Thanks once again to Max and NuNu and of course Shaun with emailing before leaving UK.
