If you just want to fill your belly and don't mind paying to do it, pick Jetty's out of the dozen or do eating options at Hillary's Harbour. If you like food, pick one of the others.
We had the dinner smorgasbord, which was an expensive disappointment. The plates were cold - even those off the 'hot plates' stand, but this wasn't the reason the roast meat was only just warm. But the real piece de resistance was the cheapest catering-grade gravy. I have never seen gravy stretch so far - and I don't mean eked out to feed everybody, I mean stretch - as in rubbery/slimy/gelatinous! They had just cooked a roast, for goodness' sake, why not use the pan juices?
Do yourself a favour, pay your $35 at one of the other restaurants, and get a decent meal.
