Nice location which near hakata station with 5-8 mins walk, you can reach the hotel via underground shopping mall or connection walkway or walk along the street. Expected great service from the hotel staff from check in staff in front desk to restaurant staff. Room are clean and nice view of the city street view.

The Nikko chain of hotels across Japan are outstanding. This hotel in particular is clean, the beds comfortable and in an excellent location. Lots of restaurants close by and a 5 minute walk from the station which is easy to navigate. The rooms were extremely comfortable and a decent size given it's Japan! Fukuoka is a brilliant city, the airport is a short bus ride away and the bullet train allows easy travel using the bullet train. Will be returning for the rugby 2019 and would certainly stay here again.

Hotel Nikko, which is just a short walk away from the Hakata transportation hub, is a wonderful place to stay. The reception staff are courteous and helpful, and while most of the room staff do not speak English, they are quick, polite, and do a bang-up job, so the language barrier doesn't present much of a problem. The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet at night, and there's a subway stop nearby. If you're in the mood for more traditional Japanese fare and entertainment, the district east of the Hakata station has restaurants galore.
