We went to this place based on the reviews, and enjoyed it. About a 50/50 split of Japanese and foreigners, and it was definitely bustling. The sushi was very good, and there were some interesting offerings. We thought the service was a bit rushed and not the typical Japanese excellence, and the whole feel was somewhat touristy - not too surprising given the location.

Quick in and out for delicious sushi. Staff were very happy to help us with ordering. Lots of smiles and laughter. Beer was good too.

We came across this chain when we visited the old fish market and enjoyed our meal at one of the, apparently, 5 branches near the market. This branch was local to our hotel so we thought we’d try it.

It was a Monday night and it wasn’t very busy. We were one of two couples seated on the large 2nd floor so no atmosphere at all. Sushi was fine but didn’t seem as well made as at the other branch we’d tried. Maybe it’s a volume thing.

Yeah quite expensive for the quality of Shusi you are getting there.

I had the selection 13 pieces + miso soup. I didn't like the fact that they put wasabi in each Shusi without asking me.

I do not recommend this place.

Family ordered few items. Tasted ok and all but next day hubby and our child got sick so really not too sure about the food or freshness or hygiene?
