This hotel is well located less than 10 minutes walk from the South East exit of Shinjuku station, in an area with lots of bars & restaurants nearby. I stayed here for four nights in a simply furnished "Casual Single" room - the single bed was 4ft (1.2m) wide, with a firm but comfortable mattress, and a choice of soft or firm pillows. My room was also furnished with a work desk and swivel chair, a safe that could hold up to a 14" laptop (possibly 15" if inserted at the right angle), a small quiet fridge, a kettle (free teabags available next to the lifts), and a TV with no channels in English. The free WiFi performed well, and the air conditioning unit on the wall was quiet and efficient. The walk-in shower had good pressure & temperature control. The room layout was a bit tight, with hardly any space to put an open suitcase - this is a minor problem, but it resulted in the room appearing in poor condition, where a corner of the wall had been kicked repeatedly by guests trying to squeeze past their luggage, and scuff marks on the wall where luggage had been repeatedly scraped against the it. Note that bed sheets are only changed once a week, which is fine by me and is a sensible way to help the environment. - but they will supply fresh towels each day even if you don't use them! Friendly English speaking on the reception. My room on the 12th floor did not experience any problems with noise, but your experience might be different on a lower floor. I would stay here again.
