This steakhouse is located in the Park Hyatt hotel. The view from the 52th floor is amazing. Steaks were really good but for the price I expected a little more. Service is friendly. You might find a combination of people from families staying at the hotel to tourists visiting.

I knew the reputation of this restaurant and the adjoining bar, but it blew me away. The setting, the view, the service were all outstanding, but the food is out of this world. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. I’m not sure how I can ever eat steak again without being disappointed. Every course was delightful and an experience to embrace if you have the opportunity. Yes, expensive, but something to remember forever!

We had a great dinner at this magical place. The venue just oozes class. The attached bar has dodgy acoustics but the atmosphere of jazz music and standard of musicianship is flawless. We had a steak which was cooked to perfection. The service, ambience, food was a highlight of our amazing stay in Tokyo. Thanks very much to all of the staff for making our experience such a memorable one.

After spending two weeks in Japan my husband and I stayed for her last night at the Hyatt. We had booked dinner at the New York Grill. That night we went upstairs and had such a good dinner! It was nice to get back to American food. I had missed eating A really good salad and so we ordered the Caesar salad which was a huge portion, plenty for us to share and so crisp and delicious. We also have the burada which was served with the beat tomatoes I have had in years. The steak and the lamb were our entree and they were as expected. The service was very good, throughout our time in Japan we found that restaurants tend to rush you through your meal but the wait staff here served a very American style, allowing us to relax, enjoy and savour our food. The view from the dinning room is spectacular. The bar which is attached to the restaurant please live jazz music which was really lovely. The only issue we had was that they allow smoking in the bar so rather than going there after dinner we chose not to because of the smoke. Hopefully they will change their smoking policy.

At 2500 yen per person (for non room customers, who want to experience a view) and a labelled cost of 2000 yen per drink. Expect a 15% service charge. Another tax. And a hidden mark up of 8% on every item. Meaning 2 people at 5000 becomes 5400 and 2160 yen per drink. With the extra; I expected to pay 5k to sit + 8k for drinks (extortionate in its own right) I ended up at 15336 (£104 for four drinks).
Otherwise nice tasting drinks, and a nice view!
