This restaurant has fantastic views over Tokyo, and the service and meals are just as impressive. While this is not a low cost dinner option, it is worth it if you are looking for both a great location and an amazing meal.

You will need to book, and it is worth starting with a drink in the New York Bar before you make your way to dinner.

This is a wonderful place to have dinner. Spectacular views, great music, beautiful decor, great service, and wonderful ambience. Food is good, certainly good quality, but you are really paying high prices for the place, not the food. Wine was ridiculously expensive. Certainly worth the visit.

We are staying at the Hyatt and decided to try the NYG. Yes it’s expensive - and bit more formal than the name suggests - but it was SO NICE!

The meals were impeccable. The kids loved the desserts. The service is excellent and of course THE VIEW.

Not somewhere to eat regularly - unless you are very wealthy - but excellent for a special experience or occasion. Really worth a splurge.

We visited at lunchtime for the buffet and probably felt a bit under dressed as we were shown to our table via the open plan kitchen area. However the views and the food were stunning. Would dress up and go in the evening next time. Very special place.

Yes, I have watched "Lost in Translation" and realize how popular this restaurant is. The service, food and ambiance is top notch!

Please don't come here thinking you are not going to spend $$$$!!! It was my anniversary, so, it was well worth every penny or...yen
