We stayed here with my family of 4 - myself, my little sister and our parents who are in their 60s. We stayed for 4 nights and it was really comfortable in terms of location as well as the room size and amenities as well as the fact that it was super quiet at night despite being so close to the action in Shinjuku - the manager was also really nice and answered all of our questions before and after arrival :)
I was a bit nervous as the photos don't show much and I wasn't sure what to expect. But once we arrived at the room it was much much nicer that the photos, the whole building is new (just built a year ago) and the rooms are sparkling clean with comfy bed and pretty high tech equipment - as you would expect from Japan :) I told the guy they need to change the photos if they want to get more customers :))
There is also an awesome pizza place which is apparently one of the top 3 places to get decent napoli pizza in Shinjuku - apart from the pizza, we really enjoyed the lamb chops and the Japanese craft beer they serve at the place - I think it was called rize wize or something... highly recommended. As far as restaurants go, there is a super famous Ramen restaurant just on the other side of the street as well... be sure to check it out.
They only thing is that breakfast is not served at the place - but actually we had no problem going to the close by cafe (many of them around) and getting breakfast.
