Omg I can never get that hour back ! Thank goodness we left at the second break . It would have been fine if the kids were 7 years old. Really cheesy , have seen better school productions. Don’t waste your money , all about making as much money as possible with more time at the breaks trying to flog beer/ bubble tea etc than actual showtime.

If you do ONE thing when visiting Tokyo, you MUST check out robot restaurant. Resist the urge to google exactly what goes on there, trust me, you want to be surprised. It was hands down one of the most unique experiences of my life. Mind you, eat before or after since the term “restaurant” is used loosely. Think popcorn and beers. It’s in actuality a 3 part 90 min show that will absolutely blow you away, and perhaps your eardrums, but trust me, I originally was hesitant when I saw the ticket price, but I can say with absolutely certainty that it was worth every cent for this spectacle. If I had paid double the amount I would still have left feeling like I got my money’s worth. It’s such a perfect blend of over the top performances, traditional drum dancing and music, lights and technology, and of course...robots. But robots with ninja turtles riding flying moths while fighting robots on dinosaurs, frogs, lobsters, rainbow brights, and giant mechanical fish fights to the tune of 90’s world peace jams. Make sense? Nope. Amazing? Yep. You will literally be sitting in your seat with your jaw dropped for 90 minutes saying “what was THAT?” Every few moments. So take my word for it. I’ve traveled the world and seen a great many things in the military and THIS wins the prize.

I feel compelled to write a review because I was almost talked out of going by some of the bad reviews. I have no idea what those people were expecting, but I was looking forward to a wild and silly show and this was exactly what I was hoping for. I bought tickets through viator and went to the location to pick up my ticket. There is a waiting area with fried food and drinks. I didn't eat anything but did get a beer. 10 min before the show starts everyone moves down to the show area. It's a smaller space than I expected but that means you are right up close to the action. I felt a little silly going alone, but the seats are assigned and so it wasn't weird.
The show itself was a blast. So much energy! I thought the performers were fantastic! They seem like they are having a great time. The dancing was good, the songs were fun and lively, the costumes were crazy, and the robots... Well they are more like floats in a parade but they are flashy and bright and crazy. It was a blast! I didn't stop smiling.
Ignore the bad reviews. Clearly those people don't know what fun is. I saw kids and older folks all having a good time. Everyone around me left happy.
Is this silly? Yes. Is it weird? Absolutely. Was it fun? Definitely.

The show is crazy and fun! Family friendly, but if you drink I recommend getting some alcohol so you let loose and let the madness consume you. :P

The show is separated into segments with short breaks. You can get snacks and drinks. There's a simple theme to each section. There are robots, but it's not like A.I. It's more of an electronics, music, singing, and dancing show.

It didn't disappoint! Just go there to have fun and expect crazy characters. There's nothing historical about it. I'd see it again next time we visit. It seems like they change up part of the show from time to time.

Awesome and unique Tokyo experience. Much more intimate venue than we were expecting! We had heard beforehand not to eat the food so we didn’t and we are glad bc it looked a bit sad lol. Game on w the drinks though! A Tokyo must,
