Great location with the bus from Rimini to San Marino (and vice versa) stopping just outside. Be wary of the timetable inside the hostel though and make sure to double check with the bus stop sign for the correct times.
The place is clean and comfortable. If you don't bring a sleeping bag, they'll provide linens for a small charge. Showers and the bathroom are in great condition. The rooms are a little cramped with 4 bunk beds but it's not really an issue.
The games area has table football and a few exercise machines, along with a TV and comfy sofas. The caretaker is super friendly and will help you out with maps or leaflets for attractions in the old town of San Marino.
Breakfast is a simple buffet included in the price, and the pub downstairs serves cheap fast food meals from 6pm onwards.
For 1,50€, the same bus from Rimini will take you up to the old town or it's a 3.5km hike which isn't too bad in the nice weather. I highly recommend using the stairs as shortcuts rather than following the main road route Google Maps tries to take you.
Overall, we had a great stay at this hostel and would return again if we were back in San Marino.More
