The best experience of visiting anywhere is always tapping into local knowledge, and that is definitely what Maction Planet gave me. Fantastic tours taking me to places I would find the usual way, perfectly customised: culture, sightseeing with craft beer and quality apparel as well! Have a tour guide who speaks the local language was also fantastic as it meant I go some much more for my 3 days. Worth every penny. Will keep going back!

Maction Planet took us on a wonderful tour of Tokyo, taking in the "famous" sites such as the Starbucks in Lost in Translation and also more out of the way places such as an excellent ramen restaurant that only locals knew about, and some very trendy new craft beer bars.
The trip was fully customisable, so my wife's dream of going to a cat cafe was finally realised and I got to cheer on the local baseball team!
Mak was an excellent guide and I would highly recommend the use of his services.

I was only in Tokyo in October of 2016 for a mere 8 days, but Mac made it feel as though I was there for the perfect amount of time. I got a well rounded tour of the city- visiting tourist highlights such as the Tokyo Sky Tree, the beautiful Meiji Jingu Shrine, the Imperial East Palace Gardens.

There were so many incredible places to see and Mac was an excellent host- friendly, polite, fluent in Japanese, and very knowledgeable about the history and culture.

All the restaurants Mac took us to were delicious, he knows what to ask for and what to order. If you want a nice fancy dinner, he knows a place. If you want the best local ramen noodles, he knows a place.

I had a lot of fun hanging out with him in the karaoke bars in Shinjuku (Mac does a wicked rendition of "Slim Shady"), drinking in Golden Gai bar district, going anime toy shopping, and he even booked a reservation for my visit to the Robot Restaurant!!! The list goes on, but his hospitality is second to none.

Highly recommended for any first time travellers to Japan! He made the small amount of time I had feel well spent.

I visited Japan last year for a 16 day holiday touring the country. The highlight of the trip was our Tokyo tour with Maction Planet. We explored all of Shibuya and Shinjuku. Mac took us to a beautiful sunset viewpoint, we did an alternative bar crawl into places we'd never know to go in without him. We ate in one of the local Izakayas. Incredibly memorable!
