Description: Gonpachi Nishi-Azabu, on the corner of Nishi-Azabu Crossing, is located just 10 minutes from Tokyo Metro Roppongi, Nogizaka, and Hiroo stations are open until 3 am. Known for being the location of former-US President Bush and former-Prime Minister Koizumi’s Izakaya Summit, and even more famously known for its scene in Quentin Tarantino’s 2004 film Kill Bill, Gonpachi Nishi-Azabu’s nostalgic atmosphere brings you back to a Japan of a bygone era. To this day, Gonpachi’s fresh soba noodles, grilled skewers, tempura, and more are popular amongst both Japanese and foreign customers alike. We use carefully selected, regionally-sourced ingredients in everything from the fresh buckwheat that our chefs grind into a flour and use to make our famous homemade soba noodles to our tempura fried to crispy perfection. Whether for lunch or dinner, a date or any special occasion, if you live in Tokyo or are just passing through, we offer an unparalleled Japanese dining experience.

Great atmosphere, delicious pricy food you pay for the experience of dining in such a fabulous famous place. A must have in your Tokyo plans.

It´s worth the visit because the place is very typical and the food is surprisingly good for a touristic place. The problem is depending on how luck you are you can get seated in a corner in the exit of the kitchen (as we were) or in a much nicer spot. The price is correct.

Attractive, energetic atmosphere; combined with casual comfort. This restaurant has been visited by many famous people and was featured in a scene from the movie Kill Bill. Excellent friendly service; offering delicious food with beautiful presentation and price ranging. The evening at Gonpachi was topped off with a personalized dessert of green tea ice cream and chocolate, decorated with a sparkler candle and message written in liquid chocolate from my family. This place is truly special!

Please make reservation unless you are prepared to wait for vacancy.

A great drum performance welcomed my family as we arrived at the Gonpachi aka “Kill Bill Restaurant”. We had a spectacular view of the performing stage on the mezzanine. Considering the fact that this restaurant is located in the Roppongi area, its foods are reasonably priced. Try to visualize how Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu fought in this restaurant while enjoying the cuisines and ambience.

Delicious food and different price points available. Kobe beef for 17,800, course meals for 2,500 each, and a la carte meat on a stick is what we did for only about 300-500 yen a piece. The food was delicious and of course it was fun to see the scenery of Kill Bill fight scene! Staff super accommodating and especially helpful finding foods i can eat since dairy makes me sick! Loved it!
