I stayed here for three nights and I was pleasantly surprised how great it was. The area is great - close to Shibuya and the night district. It's a bit quieter in this area as well but they have many convenience stores for late night snacking. The staff is wonderful and the building as well. The lobby and dining area is very cosy (it's where you'll have the included breakfast) and there's an area rest, have a drink or read a book.

There is a separate lounge for the hostel guests where you can prepare light meals, eat and hang out with other visitors. The rooms consist of many beds in one, but you'll have your own space/room. The bathrooms consist of toilets and separate showers. It's all clean, good interior design and very affordable. I would really recommend this place - I would stay here again.

Relaxed, chilled out hostel close to Akasaka station. Clean and tidy, dorm beds are quite small and open at the top so maybe not best for light sleepers but did not worry me. Staff were nice and really helpful, common areas were comfortable and a nice spot to have a drink, eat.

Definitely value for money. As the hostel provides free breakfast, free wifi, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryers.

Have never stayed in a cabin/pod hotel before and this was a great first experience. As the hostel is clean, modern and very cosy. Has a communal area outback and a restaurant in the front. The staff are lovely. And your pod is very comfy and spacious enough to get yourself in and a backpack, as well as many shopping bags lol.

The hostel is about a 3 minute walk to Akasaka tube station. And about a 15 minute walk to Roppongi.

My only complaint is, though I've experienced worse, is that people can be a tad thoughtless and do come in and out of the dorms at night, leave their alarms on :< or decide to rummage through their belongings. The first time I stayed at Kaisu, it wasn't an issue but the second time, it did keep me awake a few nights.

Kaisu is by far the best place I've stayed in Japan.
I stayed in the female dorm, it had extremely comfortable beds, and the shower room was excellent.

The staff were great at suggesting places to go and were extremely welcoming and helpful.

Location is good, only a short walk from the metro. Definitely recommended.

I stayed in Kaisu for six nights and I can say that this accommodation is one of the very best I've ever stayed. The whole hostel ia very clean, very helpful staff, very good location, breakfast included, fast wifi, shampoo/showe gel/conditioner included.
If I go back to Tokyo I will definitely stay there again.
