This Yakitori restaurant has been going strong for years! Our first meal there before we got married was in 1971 when it was much smaller and more smoky. Our preference is to have the chicken cooked with salt and not the sauce. The kamameshi rice pots are tasty!

Lots of free tables but keep guests waiting outside and sits crowded. Poor service behavior compared with most Japanese restaurants. Food is too ordinary. Only a few choices. DO NOT COME!!!
Torigin is a must go every time we visit Japan. All of their chicken skewers are delicious as well as their Kamameshi (Rice in Pot). Prices are very reasonable for Ginza and for the quality of food.

Visit this only if you are a diehard fan of chicken! Various forms of Chicken including Yakitori are available. Popular with tourists. Kamameshi (rice) preparations are also interesting and tasty.
