My husband and I went to Tokyo for anniversary and it exceeded my expectations.
The hotel is located very close to Tokyo Station and a few steps walking to Ginza.
Staff is super kind and nice.
Bedroom was amazing with the Imperial Gardens view.
Breakfast is very good also in both spots: lobby and basement.
And please do the afternoon tea at the lobby 😋
We loved each day staying here!

My two girlfriends and I spent 4 days here on our first trip to Tokyo. The service and attention to detail was second to none. Our room was very spacious and perfect for 3 people. However, If you’ve never been to Tokyo before, I would recommend really researching the attractions/areas you want to see and book your hotel based on that. Our only complaint was that The Peninsula was probably not in the best location for the typically touristic things that we did. We spent a lot of time in taxis.

I stayed at the Peninsula with a friend recently and had a perfect stay! The staff were so hospitable and friendly and went over and above to make you happy. Edith from the breakfast lounge was particularly lovely! She was so helpful and polite. Patrick also amazing and made us feel so welcome! Carlo was also very helpful behind the concierge desk with great recommendations! The housekeeping team were wonderful and so efficient! Thank you for the amazing stay i cant wait to come back!

The Peninsula oozes luxury from the moment you arrive. Maybe it’s the Rolls-Royce house car out front or maybe it’s the beautiful lobby but this place feels fancy.

We stayed in the Deluxe suite and it was amazing. Panoramic views over the Imperial Palace were impressive. There were tons of over the top details that really made the hard product here amazing. There was a telescope in the living room, a massive closet, the softest robes and slippers, and even a tub with a button that dimmed the lights and played relaxing music. It felt like every detail had been gone over with a fine tooth comb.

The facilities here are over the top as well. Their pool and spa facilities are amazing. Their rooftop restaurant and bar “Peter” is very cool. Great view of downtown Tokyo and the Imperial Palace as well as great food and excellent drinks. I’d say it’s an absolute must if your in Ginza and looking to grab drink.

My only minor complaint was a room service breakfast I had. Everything was very good but it wasn’t up to par with the other room service meals we had in Japan. But like I said it’s my only small complaint and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I was looking for a place to stay in Ginza.

We stayed at The Peninsula for 4 nights in June and loved our stay! The Peninsula staff are very accommodating and always willing to assist. Whether it was with dinner reservations, questions/suggestions for day trips or all the special touches for our celebrations, they were always happy to help us with any request!

We were impressed with Peter Restaurant on our first night, it had gorgeous views, and great food. Breakfast every morning was really great too, we opted for the Japanese breakfast a few times and also the standard Western breakfast option a few times. Our room was beautiful, and had ample space for all our items. The service at this hotel was really special, especially the concierge. They went out of their way to find suggestions for us based on our requests.

The only thing I didn't necessarily love was the way the restaurant takes over the main lobby when you enter the hotel. But outside of that it was incredible. The location of the hotel is also perfect. Easy to get around, close to the subway and train stations, lots of great dining and shopping nearby- overall very close to everything! I highly recommend staying here and would absolutely come back on my next trip to Tokyo. (We stayed at a different hotel for 1 night in Shinjuku on our way back at the end of our Japan trip and I definitely think it is better to stay in the Ginza area!) Thanks to The Peninsula for making our trip to Tokyo so wonderful!

Room tip: Higher Floor have great views!
