Next to Imperial Palace & Gardens. (need to preregister for palace; gardens are free & no registration is necessary). Short walk for main Tokyo railway station as well as multiple subway lines. Large rooms; nice balcony with automatic shears and drapes. Bathroom has separate shower/tub room (huge), toilet room (naturally with Japanese style toilet- heated toilet seat with built in bidet) and central room with sink. Closet is small; moderate drawer space. Room has bar soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, mouthwash, comb, hair brush, cotton swabs & pads, emery board, razor, toothbrush, shower cap, hairbands, facial tissue, sewing kit, shoe mitt & polish, teapot, coffee maker, ironing board, iron, fabric freshener, mini-frig; Blu-ray player, room safe, shoe-trees; scale; Fluffy robes and pajamas. Moderate sized exercise room with nice lap pool. Room is quiet only noise was rare emergency vehicle siren. Same plugs as US but only 100 V – things will work, but may not be perfect – damage is possible – better to use dual voltage or converter. Lots of outlets. Bedside USB charging ports. During the day the room was nice & bright, but at night it is somewhat on the darker side (could use brighter lights, the bathroom is nice and bright, but rest of room is dark – especially desk & sitting area. Reading lights at bed are okay. Bathroom lights are on dimmer which makes for a great night light without interfering with darkness of room for sleep. Central AC/heat. Great breakfast buffet – both western and Japanese foods. Some of lightest, fluffiest pancakes I’ve ever had – I eventually started ordering them daily! Daily paper delivered to room. Twice daily room service. Overall the service at this hotel was second to none.
