Stayed here as part of a Wendy Wu Japan Uncovered tour. The hotel is centrally located, only about a 10 mins walk from Hiroshima Castle or the peace park. The room was small but not cramped and there was a small seating area, the shower and toilet were in separate rooms. Breakfast was basic and not much choice although enough for a day’s touring.

Found by chance, but it's a quick $8 taxi ride from Hiroshima train station, and close to great reasonably priced restaurants, walking distance to Dome and other key points. Easy access to trolly trains. And breakfast was outstanding value, with both Japanese and western foods on the $15 breakfast buffet. (like, kara age and french fries (which is basically chicken fingers and fries), as well as toast etc. Or from the Japanese side, you can have natto, fish, miso etc. I did note a lot of western families, including me, so I guess the word is out. The rooms are small, but, hey, for like $80 what do you want. They were clean, and had nice amenities, a decent bathroom, as well as a laundry you can use on the 9th floor (it costs about 300Yen to wash and dry a load and you have to get a key from the front desk). I think a lot of families would like this hotel even though it is a "business" hotel.

Only stayed three nights. The room was modern but compact in terms of space. Location was good about 20 minute walk from Hiroshima station and close to a lot of main attractions. Would stay again and recommend to others.

We stayed here for 3 nights and considering it is a 3 star hotel it was great for our purposes. The room was clean and modern (but small). The hotel is located close to all the things you need. The cons for us were the poor western breakfast choices which was served in a very loud area.

The Hotel Vista is a typical Japanese city hotel. The room was really small, with only enough space to fully open one of our suitcases at a time and needing to keep them closed if you wanted to move around the room. The room had everything we needed, but the furniture/décor was more suited to a budget hotel, which wasn’t what we expected for the price we paid.

Breakfast was included. There was a selection of Western and Japanese foods to choose from, but nothing that was particularly appetising.

The location of the hotel is ok. It’s a 15 minute walk from the station and a 15 minute walk in the other direction to the Peace Memorial/Park.

Overall we found the city of Hiroshima and the Hotel Vista to be a little disappointing. We really enjoyed visiting Saito (Sake Town) and Miyajima was a very enjoyable day trip, but if we went there again we’d definitely choose a different hotel and would probably look at staying in different/nicer area of Hiroshima (or somewhere else nearby).
