Our family really enjoyed learning about the history of the ninja and samurai from our expert guide and after viewing armour and artifices, had a fun time in ninja training and posing in samurai armour. We loved the experience and thought it was a highlight!

I did the Calligraphy and Tea Ceremony at the place and both have been a memorable experience. The teachers are really patient and kind.

Tea Ceremony shows you the process of making matcha green tea for guests.

Calligraphy gives you the opportunity to learn different characters and make a personal gift yourself.

Highly recommended!

I did this with my 2 sons (ages 20 & 22) and it was a wonderful experience. We began by getting dressed (with help and guidance) in kimonos. We were instructed in how to properly wear a kimono and fun dressing in traditional attire. We then went to a separate room where we we shown how to prepare tea for a Japanese Tea Ceremony (we even go to prepare our own tea) and give an explanation and the history for the ceremony. The staff the helped us were so friendly and kind. We truly enjoyed our visit.

We went with our 19 year old and our 15 year old and unbelievably they both enjoyed it!. Finding something that both teenagers enjoy is nearly impossible.

The staff were very friendly and were the epitome of serenity.

I was sad to leave and go back out into the hustle and bustle of the city. Old guys, watch your knees ;-)
