Connected to Kyobashi rail/subway by a covered walkway this hotel is well located. It is also part of Osaka Business Park and just a 5 minute walk to Osaka Castle (a night photo is essential).
The hotel is new (or newly renovated) sadly though like all Japanese hotels the rooms are small and the beds rock hard. None the less the staff are keen to assist you if necessary and the rooms are spotless and nicely decorated. Internet (both wired & wi-fi) are on hand. There are a myriad of cafes/eateries both in the hotel (untried) or in the adjoining OBP buildings.
I'd gladly stay here again if revisiting Osaka.

Stayed for 3 nights and 4 days - we chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Osaka Castle. Hotel room was small and sparse but clean and well kept. Service in Japan as a whole is excellent and this hotel can stand to be a little bit more helpful. When asked for certain recommendations such as restaurants - the answer is I don't know. When asked if there were any brochures to help us get around such as a map of the subway perhaps - the answer is I don't know. We didn't have a problem with the language as my sister spoke Nihonggo, hence, the disappointment in service. These are not random questions so I expected a helpful answer.

There is no bar at this hotel, even if one is advertised. There is free wifi in the guest rooms that was quite fast.

We stayed at this hotel around Christmas and New year period. It's convenient base if you wish to take advantage of excellent rail network in Osaka to explore downtown Osaka, visiting Kyoto or Nara. There are also many places to shop and eat, and within easy walking distance to Osaka Castle.

The room is spacious, tea/coffee making facility and the bathroom comes with some basic essential toiletries (e.g. shower cap, tooth brush, body sponge, etc). The toilet is typical Japanese one that washes you afterwards. Beds are comfortable enough but I find it a little bit hard. Everywhere in Japan is clean so you expect excellent housekeeping. When we were there, if we didn't ask for bed linen change every morning, they gave us a bottle of mineral water each a day for conservation of energy and water initiatives. There were 3 of us in the room, so one day we got 3 bottles for us when we did not ask for change of linen.

We did not have breakfast there. There are quite a few places nearby where you can get 'breakfast set' at coffee shops - such as toast, boiled egg, salad and a cup of coffee. There is also a convenient store on the ground floor in the back (no relation to the hotel) where you can buy food and drinks, magazine as well as some travel size toiletries. After long day out, we used to go to the shop and bought some snacks, beer etc to have later in the room. One day when we went to Himeji, we bought some Onigiri (Japanese rice ball) to eat on trains for breakfast.

This was our second time to stay at the hotel. The hotel is popular for weddings and has chapel for Western style wedding and shrine for Japanese style wedding ceremonies and some of hotel restaurant caters for wedding parties. We had lunch at one of the Japanese restaurant upstairs as wedding party 4 years ago and the food was very delicious as well as beautifully presented.

The hotel also has Japanese bath and Spa but we did not use it. Next time when we stay, we may try one of their spa package.

The hotel is within walking distance from Kyobashi Railway station and also subway systems. There are some department stores, Starbucks as you can guess. Dai-ei stores, next to the station complex has the ground floor of dedicated foods supermarket, where you can buy Japanese snacks to munch in your hotel room or to bring back as souvenir as well as food to eat in hotel room if you are tired of eating out.

On New Year, we walked to the Osaka Castle and also near by Houkoku shrine which is good for business and promotion. We went there as family and friends. Once back home, my daughter's boyfriend had a successful job interview and got a new job!

At the station you can also buy deal for tickets and entrance fees for Universal Studio Osaka and there are good train timetables for direct trains going there. There is also direct train service between Kyobashi and Kansai International Air port.

It's now in center of Osaka but if you stay for a week or longer in Osaka and wish to base at convenient location for good access to Kyoto, Nara as well as Osaka city via rail and subway network, this hotel would be a great location. We will stay again when we go back there next.

We booked this hotel expecting 4 star but it was rather disappointing. The photographs on the website show the lovely Art Deco interiour and this does look lovely. However, the rooms are clean but extremely basic and not what I would expect for 4 star.

The station is only a short walk away and there is easy access to all of Osaka and the surrounding districts.
