Good location near the centre of Tenjin and easy to grasp all kinds of eat walk sight seeing and play in a min.
Good accommodation except the staffs are weak on English communication and no connected room for this hotel.

Thank you for your review on your recent stay.
We apologize that you felt uncomfortable with our English fluency and guest rooms. Even among our staffs at the reception there are some members who are very fluent in Chinese, Korean, and English. Absolutely we will make a great effort to improve our English speaking ability among the receptionists as a whole. Next time you stay here please drop in and ask us about anything if you want.
We do not have any connecting rooms mainly for the sake of families. However, we would do our best to meet your expectations, such as assigning room on high floor, far from elevator, or at the corner, etc. In the long-time vacation like now we may prepare twin room for four persons by adding two extra beds if room vacancy permits.
If you have any requests please do not hesitate to contact to us any time.
We look forward to serving you again at Richmond Hotel Fukuoka Tenjin.

The room is very spacious. We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids. Our room has 2 twin beds put together. Still has a lot of room for kids running around.

Location is great. Minutes walk to train station & shopping mall (right next to Loft).

Parking is easy & efficient.

Breakfast is nice and reaonably priced. Kids under 6 are free.

We actually wanted to return to this hotel when we came back from visiting other parts of Kyushu but all non-smoking rooms were sold out.

hotel very close to station/subway with about 10mins walk.
surroundings are full of good department store and places to eat.
they have mitsukoshi, daimaur, parco... of which my friends find a very good deal and shopping especially in Parco.
the underground street seems not really that attractive as they advertise.
hotel will provide those men and ladies' cleaning and facial amenities that we loved to try and all those are branded and we are confidence to use.

I stayed in two hotel from the Richmond chain in Japan and the services is really good.
The staff is really attentive and the rooms very comfortable and clean.
Breakfast was good!
Location is great. I found it more accesible from hakata station by bus than subway as the station is a bit of a walk when you have heavy luggage. If not it's comfortable by both means of transport.
Totally recommend it.

As you mentioned, the access to the hotel from the subway station could be quite inconvenient when you come from Hakata station. I wish you did not have much trouble travelling to our hotel.

This was the third Richmond hotel we had stayed at during our visit to Japan. My husband thought that this hotel had the biggest room.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Tenjin Hakata station. We got a taxi from Hakata JR station and also to the airport,both were under 2000 yen.

The staff were really nice in both check in and out.it was here that we discovered why we had been left water in Miazacki it was because we had asked for an eco clean which meant the bed was not made up with clean sheets etc.

Where I felt let down by this hotel was on checking where a bar was , we were told where it was, explained no we can't find it, we went there, went again only to find it closed, on checking the next night it's closed every Monday but this information was not forthcoming from any of the 2 receptionists.

We went into the restaurant to have a drink and they did tak 10 percent of the price

A further note on the chain, the slippers they provide are used, the notes state that they have been cleaned but I didn't wear them as I just did not feel comfortable.

Firstly, I am very delighted that you seem to have liked your room and our nice staff. Also, I would like to thank you for requesting the environment-friendly clean at Richmond Hotel Miyazaki. We care about the environment and the eco clean is part of our ecology project. We really appreciate your cooperation.

Secondly, we sincerely apologize that we did not explain the bar open hours correctly. You must have got so disappointed because you could not get a drink at the place you liked and wasted your time going there only to find it closed.
I am sorry that you felt uncomfortable with the slippers. They are washed and sterilized, but yes, they are used. We will consider providing disposable slippers that are not used. Thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to improve our service.
