I stayed at this hotel on 10 Mar 2018 because the friend I was travelling with had to take the Shinkansen back to Narita and we needed to be in Nagoya and close to the station. The hotel is a modern business style hotel. The location is great, within walking distance to the station and, by proxy, shopping malls and restaurants. There's a lot of diversity in the neighbourhood so you have ample choice between upmarket and quaint finds.
The hotel itself is new and spotlessly clean. The rooms are compact and come filled with all the features and amenities you'd expect. There are vending machines available on certain levels of the hotel, as well as ice dispensers.
There's affiliated parking at the multi-story carpark on the next street so your parking bill is capped once you present your hotel coupon at the payment machine. However, this does mean trundling your luggage across the sidewalk to the hotel and back to the car when you check out.
All in all, a satisfactory stay. What was unexpected was the price hike because there was a major holiday or festival that weekend. I paid JPY26,300 for a standard double room, about SGD 325, even though I booked in advance.More
