This is a comfortable upscale hotel in a great location adjacent to the Yokohama Train Station & lots of shops & restaurants. Rooms & baths are large by Japanese standards. Amenities including slippers & robes are Japanese in style. The one huge disappointment for me was that we had to wait until 3 pm to check in & we were jet lagged.More

I enjoyed my stay at the Yokohama Bay Hotel. As a Titanium Elite member, few hotels seem to exceed my expectations and this hotel did just that. My check-in experience at the Sheraton Club on the 26th floor was seamless and the lovely gentleman who checked me in was courteous and helpful. I enjoyed the view from the executive lounge which had just the right amount of privacy and service.
I was upgraded to a high-floor junior suite and the rooms were well-furnished with welcomed little touches and details in the bathroom, shower and living room.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in Yokohama because of this!
The only drawback to this hotel is the breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor that was less than perfect - my travel companions complained that the food looked like it was a few days old, the spread did not have much Japanese dishes and service was not as efficient
Nevertheless, i will be glad to stay more than one night next time. Thanks again!

Nice room, good bed, good bathroom, clean, with room safe and water boiler. Very convenient to Yokohama JR station, underground tunnels and shopping. But restaurants very expensive - eat elsewhere unless you are on an expense account.

Hotel Yokohama bay Sheraton
This is a large hotel in central Yokohama. It’s close to the station, Takashimaya and Sogo but a bit far from the conference centre at Pacifico Yokohama. It has the reception lobby and a tea lounge just above followed by the main restaurants on the second floor but all connected by a grand staircase.
The rooms are, well small! Despite an upgrade I could hardly put my suitcase into the room and it block my access to the bed. On the other side I had to sidle in sideways to access the bed! It had a nice bathroom though with a tub and iron kettle, Internet were all provided. The table and chair configuration was a bit odd specially as the table was round and took up so much space.

Very conveniently located because you can walk directly from the Yokohama JR station. The rooms are rather generic, but what distinguishes this hotel from others is its service. I was looking for a shop nearby that takes a passport size photo, so I stopped by the lobby. At that time there was no one at the concierge desk, but a hotel clerk heard my request, and promised to pass it onto the concierge. When I came back from dinner, there was an envelope in my room with a map of the underground mall adjacent to the hotel with a couple of options for places to take a passport photo clearly marked AND prices for such service. Japanese hotel service and courtesy is generally much better than that of US hotels, but even then the quality of this hotel's service is remarkable.

The hotel is right next to Yokohama Train station, which is very convenient for accessing trains to many locations throughout Japan.
Super convenient to take the Narita Express from the Airport directly to the Yokohama Train station and then a few feet to the hotel. Much cheaper than taxi. Do the same to return to the airport.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed and kept up. The rooms were quite and comfortable. Their twin standard beds were quite spacious and seemed more like full size beds. Roomy bathrooms that included both shower and a separate tub.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Only complaint is that the gym and pool are not accessible unless you pay $20/person per day extra or you have some elite status with Sheraton.
Also, their breakfast buffet was very nice and had a great selection, but at $30/person, it was a bit expensive.
The train station has a ton of stores/shops both above and below ground.
