As the title suggest, this is really the best place in Yokohama when it comes to Miso Ramen and Dumplings.

My Japanese girlfriend, brought me here saying to me that I was not going to forget it.

She was right.

Recently refurbished, and run by an incredibly hard-working couple who make great ramen, this is a reasonably-priced find on the road to Yamate station or deeper Honmoku. The miso ramen, combined with an omnipresent but not overwhelming garlic and vegetables aplenty, is praiseworthy alone, but the cha-SHU meat on top is tender and not the usual throwaway of chain ramen outlets. The folks are great, the cable radio plays Andy Williams, and you'll be back again after one special meal.

Must go for the Miso ramen and dumplings. Miso soup is complex and thick, in a good way. Abundance of veggies. Noodles are solid and freshly made. Dumpling skin awesome, somewhat like mochi.

Simple menu specializing in miso ramen; I make it a point to go to Honmoku whenever I am in town just for a bowl. Excellent yaki-gyoza. Blond Japanese chef is very into his work and a treat to watch. About 6 minute walk from Yamate station, right next to the entrance to the street that leads to the station.
