I noticed there isn't an English review on this attraction and felt the need to write a good review for this fun filled park. we were there as a family with 2 young kids, age 4 and 6. We came across this place and couldn't find any English reviews, but decided to give it a try because kids are getting bored on our 4 day Sapporo trip.

Satoland is eaily accessible on the subway, then took a taxi to the park. On our way back, we just took a taxi back to the hotel because the kids are so tired after a fun filled day.

It's a farm themed park and it's filled with locals and young children. We didn't see any tourist around however, the information desk was helpful with an English map of the park. The receptionist eve helped us to call a taxi for the return trip. Park is FREE admission, however, there are various activities you can pay at the spot for a few US dollars each.

We enjoyed the Children Interactive Class--butter making. We went to ride the Funny bicycles and the kids had a blast. They are bikes that is decorated into animals, 2 rider bikes, 4 rider bikes, bikes that go sideways etc. We went to pick fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, and blueberries in the farm. Rode on the cho-cho train which goes around the park. Saw farm animals including cows. Kids played the simulation cow milking machine. Had a wonderful lunch at the café which was surprisingly delicious.

There's more to do and you can easily spend a whole day there with young kids. Many locals were there to rent a bike and BBQ.

Highly recommended attraction for family with young kids. Something refreshing for the kids other than accompanying us, the parents, who's gone crazy with ramen eating and shopping.
