We booked through a travel agency during the 2019 Sapporo Snow Festival, for two nights. Booking came with a nice buffet breakfast, set up for our American tastes. Rooms were large, by Japanese standards, with a refrigerator and tub. Service was wonderful. Close to the ice sculptures and a short tube ride to the snow sculptures. Lots or restaurant choices right next door, as well as a Lawsons.
But both rooms we had reeked of smoke. We think it came from the restaurants, as we were in nonsmoking rooms. If we stayed in the rooms too long, this would be a problem as one of us had health issues which would be aggravated by too much smoke. Sad for such a lovely hotel.More
