We've just spent 12 lovely days in Casita Alicia. This time it was even better than last August because of the fantastic Andalusian spring.
The house was, as always, perfect for a couple, and our hosts Ron and Emma were helpful and friendly again.
We had ordered Emma's three course dinner on arrival and can only recommend other guests to do the same.
This time we visited Tha Automobile Museum and The Russian Art Museum in Malaga, and they were both worth seing.
Another day we went to the top of The Alcazaba in Malaga. It was hard but worth the effort.
Ron and Emma was so kind as to book a visit to an olive mill (The Hortolano) one day. It was an outstanding experience to listen to a Spanish lady who was so devoted to her profession.
We can only recommend Casita Alicia, the area, the hosts, the views and the climate.
See you again Ron and Emma.

This is a beautiful place to stay and it is quiet with lovely views. The apartment caters for your every need and is beautifully finished. The hosts, Emma & Ron made us feel so welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The outside terrace is perfect to relax and have a dip and if you fancy cooking outside the gas bbq is great! The surrounding white villages are great to explore especially Comares! The views from the top of this village are stunning and you can see the sea! The closest beach is about a 40 minute drive away in Torre Del Mar. It isn't the most exciting of places but if you just fancy a relaxing day on the beach, Bahia de Tanit is perfect for that and the food is great! I would highly recommend staying at Casita Alicia and we will definitely be returning.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and at home.
Casita Alicia has everything you’ll need for a relaxing holiday. It’s perfectly situated for exploring the local towns and villages and the coast is less than an hour away by car. Riogordo, just a few miles down the road, is an ideal place to stock up - there are two small supermarkets, butchers, a few cosy bars and a street market on Wednesdays. The town of Comares (you can see it perched high on the mountain) was a particular highlight although the drive up and down is not for the faint hearted!
Everything in this clean and modern apartment has been well considered. From the lovely fresh towels and linen to the kitchen utensils, local information guides, games and books. Star gazing at night, sunshine on the terrace all day, cold beers and lots of lovely fresh local food in the fridge - a perfect home from home.
Emma and Ron are wonderful hosts, thank you both.
We will be back!
