My partner and I were staying in hotel for one overnight for our anniversary. We went to the restaurant for dinner, with high hopes.
The decor of the restaurant is a bit mismatched and definitely fits the hotels breakfast bar appearance than a restaurant.
The service was so so, most of waiters appeared to be standing around and no one had their own table to be serving. We were served by three different waiters throughout meal.
I asked for a bottle of rose wine (as on the menu) only to be told that their rose was in tap and to be given a glass...
We had to ask three different waiters for a bottle of water for the table as this was forgotten everytime, despite restaurant not being busy.

The food was average, pretty much pub grub. My partner's lasagne was quite obviously microwaved even though he had asked if it would be fresh.

Very disappointing, felt that there was really a great opportunity for the island was missed here!

We are here one evening while staying at Lusty a Beg. Menu isn't great but what we ordered was excellent. Good value for money too. Staff not that friendly or welcoming though. The restaurant itself is a glorified cafe room so I'd suggest eating in the bar for more of an atmosphere.

we were staying in one of the cabins and used the restaurant for snacks and drinks . Staff friendly and chatted to children . The food was good except children did not like chips.Cocktails worth a try.

Called here twice

The service was very very slow and the staff were randomly
clearing tables and taking orders not in any particular order.
There appeared to be a lack of supervision.
However, both times we had a salad which was exceptionally good.
We waited 45 minutes the first time and ordered at the bar the second time as no-one came
to take our order.
As we eventually had a lovely meal in beautiful surroundings, it was worth the wait!
