It is the 2nd time we have dinner at Cascina Schiavenza, a simple restaurant in Serralunga where you will experience the authentic cucina dell Langhe, with high quality ingredients, perfectly prepared. Real SlowFood here, unlike what you can find in other more pretentious Osterie in Alba.
The peperoni with "bagna cauda" is a delicious antipasto, ravioli al plin with white truffle are an exceptional primo and should be followed by brasato al Barolo or faraona alle erbe.
The red wines from the Cascina Schiavenza vineyards are excellent.
