This restaurant does not have great vistas being in the shopping village area. However, the food was good - the oysters were the largest I have had in Australia! The snapper special was excellent. The tarte tatin was below average. And the service was friendly and efficient. It was pretty pricey overall.

If we had not been taken here by friends I would of walked straight past and not bothered. So glad we did get to eat here though. We had lots of different dishes which we all shared and everything we ordered was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and we did not feel rushed and the food kept coming at a good pace. The duck dish was amazing. If I lived in the area I would definitely keep going back! We took our own wine and no fuss was made. A great lunchtime experience.

our experience at pitch fork was pleasant and it is a nice spot to sit out in the summer breeze. the service was fine and the food was fresh and tasty with no faults or anything but neither the experience of being there or the food blew us away and we wouldn't rush to go back. For the price and compared with other restaurants in the area it would be the one we least rave about. the menu had a good choice of fish and meat dishes with some interesting flavours but we both felt that with our dishes the flavours just didn't gel that well together. We shared a share plate, had a main each, shared desert and an ordinary bottle of wine and it came to $130. Nothing to fault but not sensational.

We really enjoyed our dining experience at Pitchfork Restaurant, it was very easy to make a booking and we were greeted with a friendly waiter who gave us water immediately. We had a 3 course meal and were looked after with options of a gluten free and a vegetarian menu. The waiters ask if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies, which I think is a special touch and shows they are taking extra special care to look after their customers. The food was delicious and the service provided was friendly and helpful, we will be back.

Rightfully good reputation for the quality and flavours of the food. Had a sharing board and a main each. However the service was comical. The waiter seemed unfamiliar with the whole waiting process. we had to call him back a number of times for water, wine, bread for the share plate he had just delivered. Each visit was like he had been knocking back too many red bulls and coffee as he was on fast forward each time, more reminiscent of supermarket checkout than a relatively expensive restaurant. The atmosphere was poor too. tables close together, some form of construction going on outside (at night) and car alarms going off which meant everyone talked louder and louder to be heard.
